Aniko jointly owns Redmayne Smith with Paul, with the various portfolios discussed above. She is also our experienced mindset specialist, with a wealth of finance and accounting experience. “We just completed on our second BMV property which will be refurbed from a 2 to a 3 bed to be used as a R2B. Both have been sourced by Redmayne Smith, and the process has been brilliant, even yesterday, as I was thinking about contacting our builders to see if they could collect keys as the property is 4 hrs away from where we live, Amy from Redmayne Smith emailed me to say she’d already let the builders know!
Property number one is partially refurbed now and should be finished by end January, all going well.
We have also taken on 3 R2SA properties in Derbyshire this year which, despite lockdowns has brought in an average of 2.5k profit per month (not including November). We will be taking on another R2SA in Whitby end January. All of our properties have been sourced and it has been made very easy.
We are still learning a lot by visiting the properties and talking to everyone involved but we are having our hands held, which suits us in our current position.”
